Halibut is the largest of all flatfish. It is found on both sides of the North Atlantic Ocean and in parts of the Arctic.

 

Halibut live at depths ranging from a few meters to hundreds of meters deep, and although they spend most of their time near the bottom.

 

The Atlantic halibut has a velvety flesh known for its sweet taste. They are a rich source of Omega-3, selenium and vitamin D. When cooked, their flaky flesh becomes tender while staying firm.
